SO THAT IS AT A POINT WHERE THEY'LL BE STARTING TO BREAK GROUND AND PULL THEIR BUILDING PERMITS AND BREAK GROUND. I'VE ALSO BEEN TOLD THEY'RE SUBMITTING A PLAT TOMORROW. THIS IS A LONG TERM LEASE PROJECT FROM THE OVERALL ITOWN COMMERCE PARK. THEY'RE GOING THEY'RE GOING AHEAD AND PLATTING SO THEY CAN, YOU KNOW, HAVE THAT COMPLETELY SEPARATED AND DEFINED IN LEGAL TERMS WITH THE METES AND BOUNDS. SO THAT'LL BE COMING IN, ALTHOUGH THAT WON'T COME BEFORE YOU BECAUSE PLATS DON'T GET ANY FINAL ACTION BEYOND STAFF LEVEL AT THIS POINT. AND THEY'RE LOOKING THEY'RE CALLING IT THE TOOLKIT FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. AND SO IT GOT APPROVED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MAKE THOSE MODIFICATIONS. AS YOU KNOW, LAST YEAR WE TRIED TO GET A REFERENDUM APPROVED BY THE VOTERS TO OFFER THIS TOOLKIT TO THE VILLAGE. AT THE TIME, THE THE THE WAY THE COUNTY PROGRAM WAS WRITTEN, THE VILLAGE COULD NOT PARTICIPATE UNLESS THEY THEY HAD THEIR OWN TOOLKIT APPROVED BY THE VOTERS. MARTIN COUNTY HAS EXPANDED THEIR PROGRAM SO THAT THEY CAN OFFER THEIR PROGRAM THEIR TOOLKIT, MARTIN COUNTY'S TOOLKIT PROGRAM, TO INCORPORATED AREAS. SO WHAT DOES THAT DO THAT THAT MEANS THAT MARTIN COUNTY HAS A MILLAGE RATE OF 6.516, OR WHATEVER IT IS. I DIDN'T WRITE IT DOWN. AND SO IF A COMPANY CAME IN THAT MET THE CRITERIA AND IT'S A TARGETED BUSINESS, THEY WOULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO PUT IN AN APPLICATION WITH MARTIN COUNTY, EVEN IF THEY WERE IN THE VILLAGE. BUT IF THE VILLAGE HAS THEIR PROGRAM ALSO, THEN WE CAN SWEETEN THE POT, IF YOU WILL, AND ADDRESS IT THROUGH THE YOUR 1.8250 MILLAGE RATE THAT THEY WOULD PAY PAYING ON TOP OF THE COUNTY. SO EVERYBODY PAYS COUNTYWIDE TAXES REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU LIVE AND THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE VILLAGE PAY THE VILLAGE MILLAGE. AND SO FOR A BUSINESS LOOKING TO LOCATE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE VILLAGE, THEY WOULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO LOOK AT THAT LARGER MILLAGE RATE, BECAUSE THE TWO WOULD BE COULD BE COMBINED. THE PROGRAMS ARE SPECIFIC TO EACH EACH COMPANY. THEY'RE TIED TO A CERTAIN NUMBER OF JOBS THAT ARE HIGH PAYING JOBS THAT ARE ABOVE YOUR, YOU KNOW, THERE'S A FORMULA FOR IT. THE PROPERTY APPRAISER IS THE ENTITY THAT THAT MONITORS THE PROGRAM, AND THEY HAVE TO APPLY EVERY SINGLE YEAR. SO JUST BECAUSE YOU GET IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE IT EVERY YEAR. YOU HAVE TO REAPPLY AND DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU MEET THE CRITERIA. REALLY, THE ONLY THING I BELIEVE THAT WOULD BE OF VALUE IN YOUR TOOLKIT WOULD BE THE AD VALOREM TAX EXEMPTION PROGRAM. BUT THERE WAS LIKE THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BONDS, YOU KNOW, DIFFERENT PARTS OF MARTIN COUNTY IS PUTTING UP A FUND THAT COMPANIES CAN BE REIMBURSED THAT ARE COMMITTING TO LARGE SCALE WITH HIGH IMPACT PROJECTS. A MINIMUM OF $10 MILLION INVESTMENT TO MARTIN COUNTY. BUT THEY'RE CAPPING A REBATE, IF YOU WILL, OF $1 MILLION. THE VILLAGE IS YOU KNOW, WE'RE NOT IN A POSITION TO OFFER THE SAME LEVEL OF INCENTIVES THAT MARTIN COUNTY IS. BUT I THINK RE REVISITING THE AD VALOREM TAX EXEMPTION PROGRAM MIGHT BE WORTHWHILE.
