THE BUILDING OFFICIAL ADVISED VIA AN EMAIL THAT THE OVERHANG NEEDED TO BE REMOVED AS IT WAS UNSAFE, AND THAT WAS ALL PROVIDED AS EVIDENCE AT THE TIME. I KIND OF REMEMBER SOME OF THAT. I THOUGHT I'D JUST GIVE YOU A LITTLE BIT OF A OVERVIEW. AN IMPOSITION WAS ISSUED AND A LIEN ON THE PROPERTY, WITH FINES ACCRUING $700 PER DAY BECAUSE THERE WERE SEVEN VIOLATIONS AT $100 PER VIOLATION. AND THERE WAS ALSO A $300 ADMINISTRATIVE FEES FOR THE TWO TWO SPECIAL MAGISTRATE HEARINGS. AND SO THE FINES HAVE BEEN ACCRUING ON THIS PROJECT, ON THIS PROPERTY FROM 2021 TO PRESENT. THERE WAS OUTDOOR STORAGE, TRASH, EXTERIOR WALLS, HOLES, WINDOWS, SKYLIGHTS AND DOOR FRAMES AND EXTERIOR DOORS THAT WERE ISSUES. IT CAME TO MAGISTRATE MAY 16TH AT MAGISTRATE HEARING. AT THAT STAGE, MRS. MCKNIGHT WAS NOT PRESENT, AND THEN AT A LATER IT WAS CONTINUED TO JULY 18TH. BUT AT THE SPECIAL MAGISTRATE AND MR. MCKNIGHT WAS ACTUALLY PRESENT AT THAT, AND THERE WAS A REQUEST TO CONTINUE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 19TH, 2023. THE CASE NEVER CAME BACK TO SPECIAL MAGISTRATE. WE'VE EXPLAINED THAT THE CASE OFFICER NO LONGER WORKS WITH THE VILLAGE, BUT WE'VE GOT SO. AND IT WAS COMPLIED IN THE IN THE SPREADSHEET. SO THAT ONE NEVER CAME BACK. SO IN EFFECT IT WAS COMPLIED. AND THE CASE OFFICER IS NOT HERE. SO THAT THAT'S NOT ON THE DOCKET FOR TODAY. WHAT'S ON THE DOCKET FOR TODAY IS THE 20 2121 083 CASE.

OBSERVED ISSUES ON THE PROPERTY. HAVING COMMUNICATED WITH MR. MCKNIGHT, THERE'S A COUPLE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES THAT WERE ON THE FRONT THAT HAVE NOW BEEN MOVED TO THE BACK, AND THERE'S SOME CONNECTION WITH THAT WITH MR. MCKNIGHT AND FAMILY MEMBERS, AND HE IS STORING THEM ON THE BACK. I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THEY'RE TAGGED AND THEY'RE INOPERABLE VEHICLES. THERE'S ALSO SOME WINDOWS AND DOORS THAT NEED THERE'S SOME BROKEN WINDOW PANES AND THERE'S SOME DOORS THAT NEED SORT OF BOARDING UP AND SECURING THE PROPERTY. THE OVERHANG OR WAS REMOVED BETWEEN 2021 AND 2023. AND SO THEY'VE ADDRESSED THAT AS THAT UNSAFE STRUCTURE. THEY ALSO HAVE NOBODY. AND MR. MCKNIGHT CAN ATTEST TO THIS, BUT I BELIEVE THEY HAVE NOBODY ACTUALLY UTILIZING THE BUILDING.
